It's been twenty-five days since my last post here. I've been in kind of a slow period where I have lots of ideas but just can't seem to make them work on paper. I think part of the problem is that I visualize things in a kind of mental movie when I think about them, but I'm not very good at writing about what I "see". This has led me to start thinking about writing in a different way - maybe in the form of a script(s). I've always wanted to see a story of mine on the small screen. Fantasies of an epic mini series have turned it into something of a goal of mine. I've always thought that one of my stories would be turned into something like that; Now I wonder if I should just simply write the story as a script first.
I wonder if I'm taking the easy way out of my writing. I'm not really frustrated by my lack of progress. I really just don't have a lot of time to devote to the effort anymore and I don't have the money to stop working so damn hard to get more time to myself.
(I'd honestly devote more of that time to my wife anyway...)
